Kharan is one
of the worst affected districts
suffering from a five year
drought spell. Islamic Relief
responded to this crisis through
various phases of food
distribution. At the end of 2001
Islamic Relief started water
related interventions in the
area. In 2003 Islamic Relief
broadened the scope of its
activities through the launch of
an Integrated Rehabilitation and
Development Programme.
