Prevention of Blindness |
Since 1998,
Islamic Relief (Pakistan) has
been contributing in countrywide
efforts for prevention of
blindness through organizing
cataract surgical camps mostly
in the remote and
underprivileged areas of
Pakistan. As cataract is the
major cause of blindness in
Pakistan (66%), Islamic Relief
has been targeting this blinding
calamity as the priority area
for its community based eye care
interventions.

Prevention of Blindness Programme Needs Your Support! |
| Islamic
Relief (IR) through its Prevention of
Blindness (POB) programme is committed
to providing eye care and treatment
mainly to the under privileged and poor.
Islamic Relief has been providing so far
100% free of cost services to all the
beneficiaries. As evident from the above
mentioned plans, Al-Hamdulillah! the
spectrum of POB programme is now getting
broader and broader. Hence, IR with its
limited resources and budgetary
constraints needs support from other
donor agencies or philanthropists in the
form of zakat, Sadaqat or Atiyat to
accomplish the future plans. |
|
Your contribution means the gift of
sight for someone in need! |
